The next recital in our much-loved Aspiring Young Musicians Series takes place on Sunday 1st March 2026 at 4.30pm, here at the Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster.
​
This special afternoon of music features Harry and Teyla Burton, two exceptionally talented young musicians who have already built impressive musical portfolios at a very young age.
Harry (18) plays double bass and piano and holds his LRSM (Diploma) in double bass, with his piano diploma results currently pending.
He has performed with several youth orchestras, including the West of England Youth Orchestra, South West Music School Orchestra, and Marlborough College Symphony Orchestra. Harry and Teyla have also performed together at events in London and Bristol, including performances at King’s College London and major cultural celebrations, and have appeared as part of a large orchestra performing to audiences of around 800 people.

Teyla (13) began playing the cello at the age of six and passed her Grade 8 cello with distinction at just 12 years old. She is currently preparing for her LRSM exam. In addition to cello, Teyla also sings (having achieved a Grade 8 distinction) and plays piano. Both siblings are members of the South West Music School, where they regularly take part in residential music courses.
Guests are warmly invited to enjoy a champagne or Somerset apple juice reception before the recital. The performance will last approximately one hour and will be followed or preceded by a meal at the hotel, depending on your chosen ticket option.
