Join us for one of our much-loved DogFriendly Walking Breaks here at the Yarn Market Hotel, right in the heart of Dunster — the perfect base for exploring the stunning Exmoor National Park with your four-legged companion.

Artists’ Painting Holiday with Kathryn Wood – July 2026
Join artist Kathryn Wood for a 4- or 7-night painting holiday based at the Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster. This small-group break offers daily one-to-one tuition, studio space throughout your stay, and escorted visits to some of Exmoor’s most inspiring locations—including villages, coastal viewpoints and the surrounding landscape. All levels of experience are welcome.
The holiday is fully inclusive, covering full board accommodation, professional tuition, studio use, transport to painting locations, and a supporting programme of walks and activities for non-painting partners. The programme is designed to be accessible, including for guests with limited mobility.

E-Bike Tour (no specific date)
Come and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Exmoor National Park by e-bike. We can provide 5 different route maps for you to enjoy some fantastic views. As the landscape is hilly, the use of an electric bike will assist with tackling the steeper gradients. You will need to bring your own e-bike, or it may be possible for us to arrange hire, please enquire.
Cycling Tour (no specific date)
As per the e-bike tour but for those who prefer something more challenging. Bring your own bikes which we can provide storage for and choose from our 5 detailed routes with maps.
Gardens to Delight (no specific date)There are numerous wonderful gardens in our area, some in the care of the National Trust and others privately owned. We can offer breaks with suggested gardens to visit in Somerset and North Devon, which can either be on a self-drive basis or with transport for groups.
