Cathedrals, Cities and Sites of The South West

20th – 26th March 2026 | 7 days / 6 nights | From £1,060 per person

Step back in time and explore the historic heart of South West England with our special seven-day tour, based in the charming Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster, Somerset. Nestled in a medieval village and overlooked by the magnificent Dunster Castle, the hotel offers the perfect base for a week of history, heritage, and spectacular scenery.

Your journey begins with time to relax and explore Dunster itself, before venturing out to some of the region’s most iconic cathedrals and abbeys. Highlights include Exeter Cathedral with its Roman past and underground passages, Salisbury Cathedral – home to the Magna Carta, England’s tallest spire, and the world’s oldest working clock – as well as Bristol Cathedral and the famous SS Great Britain, Wells Cathedral and The Bishop’s Palace, and the atmospheric abbeys of Buckfast, Glastonbury, Milton Abbas, and Sherborne.

Alongside the architectural splendour, the itinerary includes a scenic tour of Exmoor National Park and its picturesque villages, coastal harbours, and landscapes steeped in history. From cream teas to centuries-old castles, each day brings new experiences and discoveries.
