Stay at the Yarn Market Hotel in the heart of historic Dunster and enjoy a relaxing five night break alongside the Exmoor Literary Festival.

Arrive on Thursday 12th November 2026 and stay with us until Tuesday 17th November 2026. The break gives you the opportunity to enjoy the festival programme while using Dunster as your base.

 

Your stay

We are offering two accommodation options for the full five night break:

Half Board: £600 per person

Bed and Breakfast: £450 per person

If you book the festival break, we will also include daily transport between Dunster and the festival.

 

Transport is planned as follows:

Friday: depart Dunster at 11.00 am, return at 7.00 pm

Saturday: depart Dunster at 9.00 am, return at 7.00 pm

Sunday: depart Dunster at 9.00 am, return at 7.00 pm

Monday: depart Dunster at 9.00 am, return at 5.00 pm

About the festival

The 2026 Exmoor Literary Festival brings together a varied line up of writers, broadcasters, actors and speakers.

Among those appearing in 2026 are Michael Morpurgo, Jonathan Dimbleby, Caroline Quentin, Larry Lamb, Julia Samuel, Baroness Minette Batters, Baroness Ann Mallalieu, Patrick Gale, Rachel Hore, Mary Keen, Joe Swift, Iain Dale, Cathy Rentzenbrink, Emily Haworth Booth, Harriet Rix, Emily Howes, Kate Lord Brown, Paul Mason, Sara Hudston, Iain MacGregor and Rosie Barnes.

Festival tickets

Please note that festival tickets are not included in the price of your hotel stay.

Guests will need to choose the events they would like to attend from the festival programme and book and pay for those events directly with the festival.

Shorter stays

If you would like to join us but cannot stay for all five nights, please contact the hotel.

Shorter stays are available at:

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast: £150 per person, per night

Bed and Breakfast: £110 per person, per night

Single supplement: £30 per person, per night

Booking

A £50 deposit per person is payable when booking. The balance is payable on departure.
