Railways of Exmoor (Date TBC)

Enjoy the West Somerset Railway, 20 miles of heritage railway through coast and combe in the beautiful Somerset countryside, from Bishops Lydeard to the seaside resort of Minehead. You will also travel on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway and the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. Further details will follow.

Dunster by Candlelight (03-04.12.2021)

During the first weekend in December Dunster is illuminated by numerous candles. Enjoy the fascinating candlelit parade on Friday and the various offers Saturday and take advantage of the late opening of the local shops. Further details to be announced.

Come and enjoy the beatiful landscape of the Exmoor National Park by bicycle. As, however, the landscape is very hilly, the e-bike is the perfect solution to make your life a little bit easier. Details can be found here.

Artists Week (18-25.07.2021)

The course runs over 7 nights with 6 days painting, Numbers are restricted so individual attention is assured. The course includes visiting our beautiful villages, coastal areas and the wonderful Exmoor landscape to collect resources for painting. PAST EVENTS

Birdwatching Break (05-09.02.2018)

Go birdwatching in the South West and visit the WWT reserves Steart Marshes and Slimbridge. Winter is the perfect time to see many different species of waders as well as geese, ducks and swans.

Murder Mystery Weekend (date tba)

Be part of the investigations of a crime scene and try to solve a murder mystery. Can you find out who committed the crime? Suspension and a lot of fun guaranteed. Details can be found here.

Garden Breaks (various dates)

Stay with us and explore the gardens of Hestercombe and/or Rosemoor. Both of the gardens offer special events throughout the year which can be perfectly combined with a stay in the Exmoor National Park. The Yarn Market Hotel Garden Tour includes visits to RHS Rosemoor and Hestercombe Gardens as recommended by Monty Don and featured on Gardeners World (August 2016). Details can be found here.
