This new workshop uses practical guidance to introduce the
Alexander Technique and demonstrates the many ways in
which it can help us to help ourselves.

We will be discovering how the principles of the Technique
can give us the skills to observe, assess and adapt postural
balance, emotional response and psychological outlook.
The benefits of this knowledge can enhance and improve life
on a daily basis in so many ways, including better physical
balance and comfort, improved energy and
increased confidence.

We’ll be working with everyday movement such as sitting,
standing, lying down and walking, as we discover how to
observe, assess, and (if we wish) start to change habits
which get in our way.

Although all are welcome to join this course, it will be of
particular interest to newcomers to Alexander, as well as
relevant to those who have used it in the past and would
like to revise their skills and learn more.
